Good day guys and welcome to another wonderful tutorial by zstripes on the topic –How to get good grades in the University.
It is one thing to gained a university admission and yet another thing to get to good result out of the university.
Today I am going to expose the real secrete that distinguishes the highly successful student from the others in the University setting. This tutorial is totally from live experience and from research so we guarantee that if you follow our teaching you will have a dramatic turnaround in your results and get a good result in the university depending on how much time you still have before graduation from the university.
Some of us before entering the University where doing excellently well in our pre-university days but on entering the university it seemed like things got a little weird and to others it was like the road of success just opened up to us because we started doing some things rightly. To the first category of persons there where some things you stopped doing and to the other category of students you probably started doing something you were not doing. Figuring out what you stopped doing or started doing that changed your success in the University might be a little difficult but that is why we at zstripes are here for. We will like to do it this way, we will list the factors that influences good university grades and explain them alongside. So it is now up to you to figure out what you need to improve on to improve your grades in the university.
MAJOR FACTORS THAT AFFECTS YOUR UNIVERSITY GRADES BADLY
1. You probably stopped attending classes as often as you should:
During our pre-university days it
was rather compulsory to attend lectures, as far as you are in school, all
lectures was compulsory for everyone in the same class, but coming to the
university things are quite different, attending lectures is totally your wish.
Now this affects especially students who once had glory during their pre
university days as most of them feel they can read up all courses by themselves
and still have good grades, this is not always the case as most of the facts
that will come out during the examination for most course are given on a
platter of gold by lecturers during lectures and the funny thing is that you
trying to read on your own simply means you trying to over work yourself and
this is unfair to you as no matter how intelligent you are it will be easier
for someone with the questions delivered in class to beat you in an examination
as compared to you that reads round the clock without directions which the
lecturer is supposed to give .
2.You probably became unserious:
In the pre-university setting unconsciously you might have been forced to becoming a success by people around you such as your parents or elders because they monitor your activities and so you tend to use your time in the right manner and so study and get good grades without you consciously wanting to do it on your own. So it is not that you were not studious then but made good grades the truth is that your where forced to be studious and so made good grades.
3. You probably over stress yourself now:
It is no jokes that stress has a way of affecting your memory by killing your brain cells. Stress is another reason most students who were doing great before entering the university ended up performing so poorly after they entered the university. From research it has been discovered that students that reads moderately obtains better grades compared to others that read more than usual. So control your stress level, have a break and have fun at times. It will help you get better grades. I presume that is the origin of the common slogan –ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY.
4. You are probably under nourished:
Eating good and nutrient rich meal is not only good for your health but good for success. Eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals has a lot of benefits with it. Most fruits contains minerals that helps to relive you of stress and others that helps to improve your brain power and focus like oranges. So it is possible that since you entered the university you don’t get to eat those wonderful and rich meals you eat while still in your mums care. So improve on your nutrient intake.
5. You now keep a bad company:
Finally it is no doubt that if you be among 5 fools you will be the 6th and if you be among 5 wise men you will be the 6th.
This is also true as regards your university
grades. If you have noticed, successful students mingle with successful
students and vice versa so keep the right company if you would improve on your
